Is the blessing of Genesis 1 undone by the fall in Genesis 3? Not at all.
Fresh Ground Theology made the case that God’s original intention for humanity — to be fruitful, multiply, and rule — is still active. The curse didn’t cancel the blessing; it limited how far sin could take hold. And where sin abounded, grace prepared a plan through a man named Abraham.
Genesis 12 marks a turning point. God blesses Abraham and his descendants with multiplication, land, and a mission to bless all nations. It’s not a detour — it’s the beginning of restoration.
