We have really no option but to think about Him with all our might and with the best intellectual instruments at our command. Reason—which is more than logic—insists on coming into our faith. Nothing is easier, nothing is cheaper, and, I believe, nothing in the long result is more fatal, than to give men the impression that our religion will not bear being thought out to the end, that it dies if we bring it into the sun.
